Larry Sumerville II

Minister Larry Sumerville II was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and was brought up in a godly home by his parents, Pastors Larry and Elaine Sumerville.  He married Tumajah Sumerville in March 2010 who works with him in ministry as a Teacher, Prophetic Psalmist and recording artist.  Larry and Tumajah Sumerville are the proud parents of Larry M. Sumerville III and Mieko L. Sumerville. 

He committed his life to the Lord as a youth and was filled with the Holy Spirit from the early age of 10 years old. He heard and answered the call to ministry at the age of 19 while he was an undergraduate student at Morgan State University.  From then on, in boldness and authority, he has ministered in homes, the streets of Baltimore, middle schools, high schools, college campuses, youth conferences, churches, radio and wherever God has directed him demonstrating the power of God and proclaiming the good news of His Kingdom.  Larry Sumerville is known by many for his determination to know the Lord deeply and his desire to be pleasing to the Father in private and public.   

He has served in ministry preaching the gospel for over 16 years starting as a youth leader at Word Alive Worship Center in Baltimore MD, as a Youth Pastor at Harvestime International, then as a Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor at Manifestation of Christ Church (Baltimore MD) for 11years and also as an elder helping to establish ministry in Hampton Roads, VA and Atlanta, GA.  As a Youth Pastor, he organized youth conferences, planned youth enrichment trips, led school supply drives, organized outreach to the community, conducted Community Days, planned concerts, developed and implemented College Ministry with Crusades, organized Youth Sundays and was over the Children's, Youth and Young Adult's Ministry. As an Assistant Pastor and Elder, he headed the Evangelism Team, chaired department meetings and assisted with radio and television ministry as well as assisting with Pastor's needs.

His passion is preaching and teaching the good news of the kingdom and making and preparing disciples for the work of the ministry.  He carries a zeal for revealing the true nature of God and demonstrating the power and authority of His Kingdom.  Larry Sumerville is motivated by a desire to do the will of the Father and to see people walk in the fullness of God operating in purpose and free from the oppression of the enemy.  He is determined to raise up a people who know God deeply, pursue Him with pureness and fervency of heart and walk in the fullness of their God given assignments with a readiness to inflict damage to the kingdom of darkness. His aim is to pull down the infrastructure of the prince of this world through the teaching and preaching of the Gospel and subjecting all dominions and powers to the Kingdom of God and the power of His Christ.

His heart and lifestyle are conveyed through two of His favorite scriptures, Matthew 11:12, "the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." and 1 Corinthians 4:20 "The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power."  He lives a life holy before the Lord and transparent before people so that his life can be a testimony to the demonstration of mercy, power, wisdom, holiness, magnificence and love of Father, God.

Larry Sumerville graduated from Morgan State University (MSU) with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering 2007 and has continued his education at MSU and Argosy University.  He is presently employed by the Department of Defense, as a General Engineer.  He and his wife also own a printing and designing company (Priority Prints LLC), record label (Tumajah Music LLC) and are organizing a youth, young adult & family development program (Youth & Young Adult Consulting and Development Center) to minister to needs in the community.  He also currently holds a provisional patent and is in the process of obtaining a non-provisional utility patent for an invention he is currently prototyping. He his wife and their two loving children currently reside in Greenbelt, MD.

Tumajah Sumerville

Tumajah was born in Baltimore, MD.  She was raised in a godly home and from her youth her desire was to be a woman of God.  She graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Bowie State University, Worship University, and currently attends Regent University as a graduate student..  

Tumajah sanctified her gifts to the Lord at age 19.  She has spent years following her mother in the gospel, Elder Ronna Matthews. Tumajah has had many mothers who have prayed for, encouraged, been an example to and ministered to her in various seasons of her life - Lady Elaine Sumerville, Sister Dottie Crockett, Pastor Dawn McClendon, Apostle Sandra Hayden, Prophetess Judith Peart, Dr. Juanita Burden, and Minister Maxine Lee just to name a few.  

Tumajah has served as a head Psalmist and Department Head for Praise & Worship, Choir, Dance, Drama, and Administration for years.  She has also served as a leader for Intercession, Evangelism, Youth & Young Adult Ministry, Children's Ministry & Greeters.  

Tumajah longs  for the deep things of God and aspires to always touch the heart of the Master.  Her desire is that she assists in creating an atmosphere where others can encounter the tangible presence of the Father and an outpouring of His Glory!
